Arriving at Lone Sheep Ranch a tunnel of trees opens like a green archway into something quieter than ordinary life, where rows of roses nod along the fence lines, a namesake lone sheep that thinks it’s a dog closely follows its owners, massive pigs nap in flower beds, and horses roam in spacious paddocks. After careers devoted to health and reproduction in the medical field, Alex Soffici and Susan Regenhardt turned their attention to their most ambitious project yet—one rooted not in clinics or laboratories, but in soil, sunlight, and horses.
Lone Sheep Ranch is the culmination of a lifelong dream: Susan Regenhardt's vision to build and run the ultimate equine boarding facility, one engineered around the wellbeing of both horse and rider. Years of caring for the human body, paired with a lifelong love of horses, gave her an instinct for what healing requires—balance, attention, and an environment that nurtures rather than depletes. She has channeled all of it into the ranch.

Before you meet a single horse, you can’t help but feel in awe of the landscape. Giant oaks stand like old sentinels across the property, their branches throwing generous pools of shade.
